PERRIER SOREM Mechanical Screens
PERRIER SOREM is an ISO 9001 - certified manufacturer based in France, specializing in water and wastewater screening solutions. Its products and solutions are widely used in water intakes, pumping stations, hydroelectric plants, and both wastewater and potable water treatment facilities. All static or mobile screens and filters offered by PERRIER SOREM are custom-designed and manufactured to meet specific project requirements.
Key Screening Solutions:
1. Traveling Band Screens (GRF-A/GRF)
Perrier Sorem GRF-A/GRF Traveling Band Screens are designed to protect downstream hydraulic equipment, such as river or seawater pumping stations. These filters perform effectively under challenging conditions found in pumping stations, industries and power plants.
Self-cleaning operation: When the filter band is clogged, an integrated pressure drop detector triggers both drum rotation and counter-current washing, discharging debris via a washed-water collector.
Construction materials: Available in 304L, 316L, or duplex stainless steel.
Optional features: Electrical control cabinet, pressure drop detector, and cathodic protection.
Design Specifics: The filtering band is made of frames attached to two endless chains with rollers on bearings, driven by a gear-mounted shaft.
Configurations:
- Double Flow: Outside-to-inside filtration
- Single Flow: Filter element perpendicular to flow
2. Rake Screens (SXC)
Ideal for potable water, wastewater, or stormwater pumping stations where fine, non-floating debris causes clogging.
Cable-driven mechanism combined with frontline upstream screening for heavy-duty applications.
Available in versions with up to 3 cables to accommodate different flow conditions.
Customizable rake openings and bar spacings allow adaptation to varying quantities and sizes of waste.
Designed for reliable, low-maintenance operation in the most demanding field conditions.
3. Rotary Drum Screens (BFRD/BFGD)
Perrier Sorem rotary drum screens provide efficient and automatic solids separation in continuous water treatment processes.
Drive system: Gear motor (single or dual speed) rotating the drum via a ring gear or rollers fixed to the drum rim.
Self-cleaning: Waste retained on the outer surface is dislodged by high-pressure jets and directed into a washed-water collector.
Filtration direction: From outside to inside of the drum.
Applications: Ideal for municipal or industrial pre-treatment systems requiring consistent performance with minimal manual intervention.
